Gail Kelly’s work is inspired by the ancient folklore and rural traditions of Britain and Ireland. Her timeless landscapes populated by standing stones and fairy thorn trees reflect the seasonal changes in the patterns of the countryside. She uses printmaking techniques including lithography, linocut and woodcut. She also designs and publishes the Algan Arts range of greetings cards.

Gail studied printmaking at the Ulster College of Art and Design and at Louisiana State University. She now lives and works in County Down in Northern Ireland.
